Bloody Sunday

A telling of the pivotal 24 hours in 1972 that sparked the next few
decades of violence in Northern Ireland. U2's song Sunday Bloody Sunday
is based on this day where 27 people were shot.

Now, if you're not into Irish politics, but are a film buff I still
urge you to see this film. An amazingly well made film, populated with
non-actors and filmed in such a style you'll swear your watching a
documentary of the actual events. It also high lights how these violent
events of past and present are usually very messy chaotic and brief
moments, where some sudden decisions add to others and things just
spiral out of control. For that alone you should see this movie.
