The only band that mattered, and how it still does to PBS

In the you know your getting old dept:
One of the PBS channels played this new collection of live performances as part of pledge week! I thought they only did pledge drives with, like classic rock or Doo wop or something. But I guess the primary demographic for PBS are old school punkers. They had all sorts of DVD CD and book combos for the different level of support. It was so funny to watch these stuffy liberal NPR loving hosts be forced to spout off for minutes at a time on just how amazing the Clash are!
It was also crazy good to see why their live shows were legendary. They were just so energetic. Joe Strummer Rules.
The link goes to their performance on the Tom Synder Show, playing Magnificent Seven which is kinda a rap-rock song, this being 1980, way ahead of the time.
I must find my Clash Box set.
