Upon reading Trevor Brucki's blog post on the loss of his infant daughter it reminded me of reading about this service years ago in PDN. His comments on the value of this kind of service struck home.

Thank you! I'm a Labour Doula and I just LOVE the fact that this volunteer service exists. Unfortunately too many families have had to say goodbye to their newborns without having the treasure of their beautiful photographs. I have seen the work of some NILMDTS photographers and it is absolutely beautiful. Although I hope to never have to refer your services, I am confident that your work will be cherised forever.
