Heaven and Hell, The Mob Rules!

Well Sunday's night metal extravaganza was great fun! It was good to see several cliches within the genre are alive and well. Down the first opener, was er, a downer. Megadeth was the band the room was here to see. The young metalheads still follow them quite avidly. They had everyone up and giving 'er!

Then came Heaven& Hell which is Black Sabbath with Ronnoie James Dio singing. Metal from a different era,  the riffs were slower, and with a bit of groove, hinting at the blues roots. Some of the kid were bored but us old metal gusy were impressed. Ronnie James Dio proved why he was considered one of the best voices in metal. He still sounded great! They managed to hit all the numbers I wanted to hear with Neon Knights as the encore. A great show and it was fun to be a heavy metal fan for the day!
