Naughty James - The 1095 Project - July 04, 2005

I think back to when I was a young photog, how precious each frame of film was. You had to always think of how much every roll will cost to process. Now the youth create websites documenting every day of their lives, endless amounts of images being produced. Among the banal some art is surely to show up. The language of photography, with it's ties to our memory of cinema and reality shows, with it's closeted urges of voyeurism, is changing in a huge way.

There are lives, full formed that have only ever known digital photography, accessible as a cell phone. This guy is an example. He does a frame on the site for every day. Careful it's not always safe for work, but then again, I don't imagine being 20 something is safe these days.
