If anyone is interested, ask me sometime about my experience in Katimavik in 1984-85. It was one of those experiences that changed the way I see the world forever and enable me to become a photographer. I won't bore you with the details here, but I encourage any young person to seek out the options to volunteer in Canada or around the world. This link is for a movement to form a youth policy to make these opportunities more accessible.
