I am having a problem with Nikon now, I bought a digital camera from them, was impressed with the 2 year warranty, that was one month ago... the camera just stopped working, I took it for service (congratulating myself I went with a camera with 2 year warranty) I get an email back, saying the lens is cracked (NO IT WASNT!!!) and they wont fix it, but will upgrade me to another camera and give me a $30 discount, but charge me to ship it back, so the discount ends up being $10.
I call them, tell them there is no way there was a crack, I treat that better then my wife!! never dropped, banged, nothing.... how did the crack get there, she says sir, if you take your car in to get fixed and the windshield is cracked, we dont know how it was done... NO WAY YOU JUST SAID THAT TO ME !!!!! MAN !!!
Ian... can you email that email address you got for someone at Nikon who helped ???? would really appreciate it... I cant believe this whole experience. I will call and try to talk to Peter Burke, if I dont hear anything from them.
