Brave New Waves RIP
George over at the Hour blogged this. Like spending hours in record stores staring atrecord covers,BNW was a great source of of music. Sign o the times I guess.
An awful development to mention on the radio front. The CBC is going to cancel Brave New Waves. Terrible. People who love music owe a debt of gratitude to the show. Before myspace and all that, Brave New Waves was how you got to hear undergound bands in this country. The show will be missed.

BNW can be considered as Canadian as Hockey Night in Canada.
Maybe its time has passed but there should be a way to remember it somehow.
Streaming of archived shows with supplementary text. There must be hundreds of shows in the vaults.
