YIP-eeee!

I was at this event. It's so inspiring to see teenagers doing some good and also be so creative and having fun! Some of the videos were hillarious as were the spoken word and puppet shows. Kids are cool.

The Winnipeg Foundation: What's New: "On May 18th, more than 300 students from 20 Winnipeg high schools, their teacher advisors, grant recipients and special guests all celebrated the completion of the seventh year of The Winnipeg Foundation's Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) program. The students made 134 grants totalling more than $100,000 to a wide variety of local charities.

The 'YiPolympics' event included 20 creative presentations by the student committees – ranging from poetry and songs to puppet shows and videos – each celebrating the students’ experiences with YiP."
