G3 server is up.
I finally got a G3 running OS X. It will act as a webserver for this site and the occasional FTP server. Took several tries to get the machine running. Turns out there are a couple quirks with the G3 box. I thought at one point I had killed the machine, no boot chime, nothing. I ended up buying another used one off ebay for $50! When it acted up, I went on the Apple support discussion boards and learnt about improperly seated audio card and the CUDA reset buttom. Finally this afternoon I got this ebay unit online and will probably get the first one I have up and running again! Suddenly from nothing to two G3's, this could be fun!
